We host an extensive databank which includes describes tax administrative, customs, and macroeconomic data of a wide array of African countries.
ATAF Experts Database
The ATAF Experts Database aims at building a mass of experts who can be involved in ATAF activities on an ad hoc or needs basis and assist the ATAF Secretariat in implementing Strategic Plan activities in technical assistance, research and capacity development to ultimately strengthen African tax systems for adequate domestic resource mobilisation.
Our Tax Programmes
Our tax programmes include the Cross Border Taxation Technical Committee (CBT) which ensures changes to the global tax rules are fit for purpose in Africa and technical assistance work which increases domestic resource mobilisation and establishes Africa’s voice in the international tax environment Our programmes also advise regions on technicalities such as audit, investigations and collection functions.
African Multidisciplinary Tax Journal
ATAF databank is a synopsis of one of ATAF’s online data platform called the African Tax Outlook (ATO) data portal which displays and describes tax administrative, customs, and macroeconomic data of a wide array of African countries. This data is used every year to produce the annual editions of the ATO publication and related research papers.
